JIO AS INDIAN'S BIGGEST TELECOM PLAYER


JIO AS A BIGGEST TELECOM OPERATOR:-


WITHIN Three years of starting its commercial operations,Reliance becomes a biggest Telecom Company operator with a subscriber base of 331 million.


PROFITS AND LOSSES:-

For starters, Vodafone Idea, with the largest user base, made a net loss of ₹4,874 crore in the June quarter, while Jio made a profit of ₹891 crore. Both companies have priced mobile services at almost similar levels. To be sure, Vodafone Idea is in the midst of a merger integration exercise. The company believes that it is delivering on its stated strategy although the benefits are not yet visible in its topline. It also expects better financial performance going forward. But that depends on when tariffs improve in the market, and that call is clearly in Jio’s hands.



Jio, on the other hand, has shown the opposite trend for the last 6 quarters. Jio’s ARPU for the June 2019 quarter was at₹122, down from ₹126.2 in the March 2019 quarter and ₹130 in the December 2018 quarter. It was at its peak of Rs154 in the December 2017 quarter.

VODAFONE AND IDEA AS A MERGED TELECOME SERVICE:-






Vodafone Idea had emerged as the largest telecom operator with over 400 million subscribers after Vodafone India and Idea Cellular  completed the merger of telecom services business. 






I M SHARING MY VIEWS I HAVE ALSO USES FREE JIO FOR SIX MONTHS AND THEN AFTER ALL THE TELECOME OPERATORS CHANGE THEIR PLANS AS SAME TO JIO .BUT PEOPLES ARE ADDICTED TO JIO BECAUSE JIO IS BETTER AND CHEAP PLANS. SO IT IS BIGGEST TELECOME IN INDIA(MUKESH AMBANI).

RELAINCE JIO ANNOUNCES FREE DOMESTIC VOICE CALLS FROM 1 JAN WHEREAS VODAFONE WANT USERS TO STEP OUT FOR THE 4G SIM UPGRADE

HIGHLIGHTS:- Telecom giants Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea have made major announcements. Jio has announced that it will stop charging its customers for off-net or Jio to non-Jio voice calls Vodafone is shutting down their 3G services in Delhi   Reliance Jio on Thursday announced that it would once again make off-net domestic voice calls free on its network starting January 1, 2021. The operator will restart its earlier practice over a year after it started charging its subscribers 6 paise a minute to make voice calls to other mobile networks. The fresh decision came as a result of the ‘Bill and Keep' regime that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is implementing in the country from January 1 that will end interconnect usage charges (IUC) for all domestic voice calls.
